Henry Stubbings wa born in Brinkley, Cambridgeshire, ca 1836. He was unmarried and living with his parents in March 1871.
In 1881 Henry lived in Little Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, and worked as a hostler at a pub [the Green Man Inn?]. He was enumerated as married, but his wife was not listed in the household. He said he was only 40. [A Henry Dean Stubbings married Alice Hazzard in New Market RD in Dec ¼ of 1881. This was several months after the census, but perhaps they were living together and claimed to be
      married?]

In 1901 Henry lived next door to the green Man Inn which was being operated by a new owner. Henry was still an Agricultural Laborer and was still listed as single. He admitted to being 63.
A Henry Stubbbings died in Edmonton R. D. (Essex, Herts, Middlesex area~north of London) in the December ¼ 1902.
